Inauguration of new spaces dedicated to autism at the Basaglia Park in Gorizia

On November 21 at 2 pm, new spaces dedicated to the autism pilot action of the Salute-Zdravstvo project will be inaugurated at the Basaglia Park in Gorizia. The spaces, set up by the European Grouping of territorial cooperation EGTC GO, will be used by a mixed cross-border team for the treatment of children with autism spectrum disorder in the Municipalities of Gorizia, Nova Gorica, Šempeter-Vrtojba. The Salute-Zdravstvo project, finnaced by the Italy-Slovenia Interreg Program and managed by the EGTC GO in collaboration with the AAS 2 “Bassa Friulana Isontina”, the Šempeter hospital, the Zdravstveni dom of Nova Gorica, the psychiatric hospital of Idrija and the Municipalities of Gorizia, Nova Gorica and Šempeter-Vrtojba, includes the collaboration of joint Italian-Slovenian working groups, to establish innovative models and services in the field of physiological pregnancy, mental health, social inclusion and autism . The project also provides for the activation of a single cross-border booking system, which will allow reservations and facilitate the provision of joint services.
