The energy of the Openwave competition bands on stage in the Transalpina/Europe Square
The Openwave music competition successfully concluded on 28 and 29 August with two live evenings held in the beautiful setting of Transalpina / Europe Square. As part of the Borderless Beer Fest, now in its sixth edition and born from the collaboration between the two breweries Antica Contea of Gorizia and Reservoir Dogs of Nova Gorica, audiences had the opportunity to enjoy performances by the bands selected during the competition's preliminary stages.
On Friday, 28 August, the bands Another Law, All Man Look Silly, and Peer Pressure took the stage. The evening also featured a special guest performance by The Snakes, who performed outside the competition. The programme concluded with Overlaps, the band that opened Patti Smith’s concert at Casa Rossa in 2023.
The second and final evening, held on Saturday, 29 August, featured performances by Frishki, DTN, and Amy’s Escape. The guest band Here and Everywhere also performed during the event.
