A delegation from EGTC GO participated in a two-day meeting of Slovenian EGTCs held in mid-October in the area between Bad Radkersburg and Gornja Radgona. Tomaž Konrad, Deputy Director of EGTC GO, and Milan Turk, Mayor of the Municipality of Šempeter-Vrtojba, one of the three founding municipalities, attended the meeting, where representatives of various EGTCs exchanged good practices and shared their experiences.

During the event, they presented the activities and operational model of EGTC GO. As part of the bilateral conference of mayors on cross-border spatial planning, special attention was given to the redevelopment of Europe Square (Piazza Transalpina/Trg Evrope). The implementation of the project required the joint work of a mixed Italian-Slovenian team of architects and close coordination between the legislative frameworks of the two countries.
