Bilingual Basketball Glossary / From the Court to Words: Basketball Without Borders
The overall objective of the project was to establish a sustainable cross-border basketball ecosystem between Nova Gorica and Gorizia, fostering social cohesion, intercultural dialogue, and long-term cooperation among young people.
The project's specific objectives were to strengthen cross-border cooperation among young athletes through regular joint training sessions and sports activities, enhance participants' intercultural and language competences through informal learning in a sports environment, increase the participation of children and young people in organised sports activities within the cross-border area, develop and implement a cooperation model between the sports organisations of the two cities, increase the visibility and recognition of the cross-border area through the organisation of public sports events, enrich the sports and cultural offer with attractive content, and promote the active participation of the local community while strengthening a shared sense of identity across the cross-border area.
