Ljubkina pot
The main objective of the project “Ljubka’s Trail” was to strengthen the role of culture in the development of sustainable cultural tourism in the region and to increase the visibility of the literary heritage of women writers from the Gorizia region. By highlighting often overlooked literature and the hidden history of women, the project contributed to greater social inclusion and empowerment of different groups, especially women, young people and the elderly, while also strengthening cross-border cooperation. Within the project, a thematic walking, hiking and cycling trail with marked points, interpretative content and digital solutions was established. Training and licensing of guides were carried out, as well as training for teachers. Promotional and educational materials were prepared, along with a trilingual anthology of women writers from the Gorizia region. Cultural and educational activities for the wider public and young people were also organised. The project also contributed to cooperation with the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe network, the exchange of good practices, and the promotion of the region and its cultural-tourism offer in an international context.
