Ricostruzione di panorami artistico-agricoli per la nuova Europa

 The “Ars Sine Finibus” project aimed to restore the unity of the agricultural and cultural landscape of the cross-border Collio and Brda area through the creation and installation of artistic works within the vineyard landscape. The artworks were created using sustainable and recycled materials, contributing to the development of an open-air cross-border art park.

The project consisted of two main actions:

  • the “Young Artists Under 35” competition, addressed to students from Italian and Slovenian art academies, who worked in pairs to create artistic works installed across theterritory;
  • the creation of the twin artworks “So(g)no”,conceived by the artist MarcoNereo Rotelli and realised with the participation of prominent international figures from the artistic and scientific fields, including Giorgio Celiberti, Valerio Magrelli, Aleš Šteger, Alessio Bertallot and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Prof. Riccardo Valentini.

Through these actions, the project contributed to strengthening the dialogue between contemporary art, agricultural landscapes and local communities, enhancing the value of the cross-border territory within the framework of GO! 2025 – Nova Gorica / Gorizia European Capital of Culture
