From 12 to 14 June, Book Week brought together Gorizia, Nova Gorica and Šempeter through a programme dedicated to books, culture and cross-border cooperation.

Among the various events held in the centre of Gorizia and at cross-border venues, the public also had the opportunity to attend meetings at the space provided by EGTC GO, the GO! Center. These included the presentations of three publications created within three SPF GO! 2025 projects: The Way of Gorizia (Walk2Spirit project), Brezmejno drzne/Audaci senza confini (Bold without borders) (Ljubkina pot project) and La poesia dei dialetti e il paesaggio delle immagini/ Poezija narečij in pokrajina podob (The Poetry of Dialects and Landscape of Images) (Podipo project). The festival programme was further enriched by Book Kids, a space dedicated to children and families, offering activities designed to bring younger generations closer to reading and creativity.

Book Week represented an important opportunity for meeting and sharing, promoting dialogue between communities, authors and territories, while strengthening the role of the cross-border area as a shared space for culture and cooperation.
