The GO! 2025 Small Projects Fund has supported nearly 70 cross-border projects that have contributed to preparing the cross-border territory for ECOC, supported the official GO! 2025 programme, and are carrying forward the legacy of the European Capital of Culture. The fund is worth approximately 11 million euros and is financed by the European Union through the Interreg Italy-Slovenia 2021–2027 Programme. It is managed by EGTC GO.

The project beneficiaries come from a broad cross-border area, which includes the province of Venice and the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region on the Italian side, and five regions on the Slovenian side: Osrednjeslovenska, Primorsko-notranjska, Gorenjska, Obalno-kraška, and Goriška. Since 2023, EGTC GO has launched three calls, in which associations, enterprises, organisations, educational institutions and universities, as well as public and private bodies from the cross-border Programme area, have participated. In addition to European Union funding, EGTC GO has also received additional financial support from the Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia.
