Since 10th April 2026, the EGTC GO has been a member of the association of European Regional and Local Health Authorities (EUREGHA). The EUREGHA network promotes cooperation between regional and local health authorities in Europe on the topic of health policies, social care and welfare, and public health.

Its mission is to improve the quality of public policies in the healthcare and social-care field at the European level, facilitating the exchange of information, experiences, knowledge, and good practices among its members and developing new forms of collaboration with EU institutions and other international organisations.

Its activities span across several fields: advocacy, policy monitoring, research and good practices dissemination, partnership building and strengthening, and project development.

Furthermore, EUREGHA members participate in the activities of three working groups established within the association:

• Working group on digital transformation
• Working group on cancer
• Working group on cross-border health collaboration

The EGTC GO actively participates in EUREGHA initiatives, contributing, in particular, to the efforts of the working group on “Innovative Health Initiative” and of the more traditional group on “Cross-Border Healthcare”.
