Unique in its kind, the Alpe Adria Puppet Festival is a showcase of international figure theater and at the same time an "incubator" of projects and initiatives that also open up to other forms of theatricality, to contamination between different arts and experiences, in the belief that only through the knowledge of diversity can we try to respond to the complexities of the contemporary world. A cross-border festival that has always focused its attention on Europe in its plurality of people and cultures, which seeks to find its lifeblood in history and in the "wealth of knowledge" of the places where it is hosted and which is currently projected towards the big appointment with Nova Gorica / Gorizia, European Capital of Culture 2025, whose candidacy is coordinated by the EGTC GO.
