During the 11th OSCE Dialogue Academy for Young Women, we were honoured to collaborate with the organisers, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe - Kosovo mission, and GO! 2025 to tell the story of how Nova Gorica and Gorizia became European Capital of Culture 2025.

Participants had the opportunity to visit the EPI Center and the X Center, two spaces that embody the power of shared memory, art, and civic engagement. At the X Center, the Dialogue Academy hosted a Human Library titled Transforming Conflict into Unity, featuring inspiring contributors from across cultural and creative sectors:

Alenka Kreč Bricelj (Smetumet Design Collective),
Marta Donnini (IoDeposito ETS),
Mojca Stubelj Ars (X Center),
Patrizia Dughero (Qudulibri), and
Simone Cuva (24marzo Onlus).

The collaboration highlighted how culture can become a bridge for understanding — where dialogue is not only spoken, but experienced.

At the Academy’s closing event, Ezio Benedetti, EU Projects Coordinator at EGCT GO and Mija Lorbek, CEO of GO!2025, shared powerful reflections on how culture and dialogue can jointly shape inclusive futures for communities across borders.
