Workshops, retrogames, shows, debates, interviews, parades, games, and above all lots of fun — these are the ingredients of Let’s GO! Cosplay & Fun GO! 2025 Special Edition, the fantasy festival happening on Saturday and Sunday, September 13 and 14, in Gorizia. 

The central Piazza Vittoria will host most of the events, including debates and workshops, while the nearby Boccaccio Street parking garage will feature the exhibition market stands and a dedicated retrogaming area. For this special occasion, activities will also extend to the GO! Center of GECT GO on Corso Verdi 55, where visitors can play with classic arcade video games and LEGO, while tabletop games will be available in Piazza Vittoria. 

Among the highlights of the event is Lorenzo Pastrovicchio, a comic book artist from Trieste and a Disney illustrator, who will be a guest on the main stage in Piazza Vittoria on Saturday afternoon, September 13. Then on Sunday, Giovanni Muciaccia, a TV presenter beloved by audiences for Art Attack, will host a creative workshop from the main stage at 3:00 PM, followed by a meet-and-greet with fans. 

Another guest on Sunday will be a familiar voice to anime and TV series fans: Leonardo Graziano, the Italian voice of Naruto from the famous manga, and Sheldon Cooper, the genius from The Big Bang Theory. 

Sunday morning will also feature a workshop with comic artist Marco Englaro and illustrators Nika and Ginevra. 

One of the major events on the program is the cosplay contest organized by Bazinga Eventi, taking place on Sunday, September 14 at 5:30 PM on the main stage. 

Cosplayers Eriko and Gloria Sweet Angel, who have hundreds of thousands of followers on social media, will energize the popular jury of the competition. These digital creators will also take part in a dual interview discussing cosplay, Japanese culture, and artistic craftsmanship. 

The two days will be packed with events and performances for all tastes and will include, on Saturday night, an exciting show — “Italy’s biggest cartoon experience.” The party Mai dire Goku, celebrating 2000s cartoon theme songs, will set the crowd alight from the main stage in Piazza Vittoria starting at 9:00 PM. 

Alongside Let’s GO! Cosplay & Fun, Gorizia will also host Hobbiton, a historic event dedicated to the world of J.R.R. Tolkien. The link between the two events is natural: on Saturday at 4:00 PM, the Hobbit Parade will take place on the main stage in Piazza Vittoria. 

Meanwhile, in the Friulian Culture Auditorium on Via Roma, visitors can explore the exhibition "Tattoos – Marks on the Skin, Traces of Identity". The Isontina State Library will also be open to the public on Saturday morning with the exhibition "Drawing an Artist", dedicated to Carlo Michelstaedter. 

Let’s GO! Cosplay & Fun GO! 2025 Special Edition is organized by the Municipality of Gorizia in collaboration with GECT GO (European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation of the municipalities of Gorizia, Nova Gorica, and Šempeter-Vrtojba).
