From Brda to Nova Gorica and Gorizia on bike
The new cycling link Nova Gorica-(Italy)-Vipolže-Dobrovo is completed.
The cross-border network of cycle routes was further strengthened in September with a new cycle link, created in cooperation between the EGTC GO, the Municipality of Brda, San Floriano (Števerjan) and Mossa (Moš).
The project "National Cycling Network of the Goriška Development Region - Nova Gorica-(Italy)-Vipolže-Dobrovo Cycle Link" connected the Municipality of Brda with Gorizia and Nova Gorica via the Italian municipalities of San Floriano (Števerjan) and Mossa (Moš). Vertical and ground signage was put in place.
The cooperation between EGTC GO and the Municipality of Brda has thus made it possible to extend the existing cross-border cycling routes developed by EGTC GO in the framework of the CTN Isonzo-Soča project, which cyclists will now be able to follow from Brda to Nova Gorica in Italy.
The project was financed by the Slovenian Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, the Municipality of Brda, the Municipality of San Floriano (Števerjan) and the Municipality of Mossa (Moš).
