Barraonda, the GO! 2025 boat, is preparing for a new sailing season on the wave of the inauguration of GO! 2025. The milestones achieved so far and future plans, including the desire to bring the boat on display in Gorizia, were presented at a press conference this morning in the Dora Bassi conference room in Gorizia. In addition to Barraonda's president Sofia Provvidenti, the two mayors of Gorizia and Nova Gorica, Rodolfo Ziberna and Samo Turel, the director of the EGTC GO Romina Kocina, the deputy director for international cooperation of the Javni zavod GO! 2025 Lucija Sila, the regional councillor Diego Bernardis and other guests also took part.
"Barraonda carries the name of GO! 2025 to an international audience, who might otherwise not know us," remarked the director of the EGTC GO. By crossing sea borders, Barraonda is also perfectly consistent with the #borderless message of GO! 2025.
