The EGTC GO and the Javni zavod GO! 2025 continue with the ‘dressing up’ of the two cities in view of GO! 2025, the year in which Nova Gorica and Gorica will be European Capital of Culture.

GO! 2025 KIT
The free distribution of the GO! 2025 promotional KIT (consisting of T-shirts, pins, bracelets, coasters, leaflets, stickers, etc.), which was launched last August, was a great success. Some 120 businesses in the cross-border area responded to the notice, including over 70 catering and tourism businesses and about 50 shops and other types of establishments. The EGTC GO pledged to satisfy all requests received by the end of October. Almost all kits have been collected, confirming a very good take-up by local operators. The call has now been extended to associations and non-profit organisations in the cross-border territory, which can register via the form at this link to participate in the next planned distributions in 2025, subscribe to mailing lists and to receive the GO! Borderless digital banner.

Alongside the kits, the GO! Borderless, which can be requested via the same form as the GO! 2025 kit. The banners can be placed on the websites of the activities to promote the event online as well, by connecting directly to the GO! Borderless Wireless www.go2025.eu.

Stickers for shops
In the run-up to the official opening of GO! 2025, which will take place on 8 February 2025, EGTC GO has started in recent weeks the distribution of window stickers and the turquoise pendant decor items, already used at the stands of Gusti di Frontiera, to shops in the centre of Gorizia. Businesses located in Corso Italia, Corso Verdi, Via Oberdan, Piazza Vittoria and the surrounding streets have already received the stickers. Those outside the distribution area can collect the material, together with the GO! 2025 sugar sachets (for bars) at the EGTC GO office in Corso Italia 55 (during the morning). Businesses in Nova Gorica can pick up the material at the GO! 2025 infopoint at the Xcenter (Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

The GO! Borderless Wireless (go2025.eu) platform has been developed precisely for the promotion of the Capital and the events of the borderless area and draws directly - with a complex system of data interchange - from the main FVG and Slovenian tourist information sites, creating the first truly borderless calendar of our territory.
