TIME FOR TRAIN
The Time for Train (T4T) project involves the development of cross-border cultural and wine-culinary experiences, making use of existing railway infrastructure to provide a sustainable connection between Slovenia and Italy. Railway lines between Bohinj, Nova Gorica, the Vipava Valley, Gorizia, Trieste and Venice are being transformed into cultural corridors connecting events, destinations and communities, thereby strengthening the area's shared identity. The project aims to promote sustainable mobility, strengthen cooperation between cultural and tourism stakeholders, and develop joint, long-lasting cross-border cultural and tourism products. Planned activities include analysing rail connections and content, developing at least five themed weekend packages, preparing a joint promotion and communication plan, implementing at least five cross-border experiences, running B2C and B2B promotional campaigns, creating car train stickers, and preparing a sustainable cooperation model for after the project ends.
