Gora's legend
The project promotes the enhancement of cultural heritage, in particular the rich and lively tradition of puppetry. Through a joint theatrical production, the aim is to expand the job opportunities of the artistic, technical and administrative staff of the Il Rossetti Theatre (IT), the Lutkovno gledališče Ljubljana (SI), and other cultural operators interested in starting collaborations between Italy and Slovenia. Thanks to the project, a new legend will be created about the birth of Gorizia-Nova Gorica, two bilingual shows will be staged in the GO! 2025 Borderless Area (one permanent and one on the van) and there will be two interactive workshops on puppetry and puppet construction techniques for the schools of Gorizia and Nova Gorica. A new bilingual puppet production with new environmentally friendly puppets will also be promoted, and a joint puppet-making workshop will be organized.
