GO TOURISM
Strengthening the tourism sector in the Italy-Slovenia cross-border area for the support and promotion of the CEC GO! 2025
The GO TOURISM project aims to exploit the natural and cultural assets of the Nova Gorica - Gorizia cross-border area, in conjunction with the European Capital of Culture 2025, to develop sustainable tourism products. The aim is to improve the skills of stakeholders, increase the visibility of the cross-border area and promote the CEC GO! 2025. The project will promote closer cooperation, creating networks between tourism service providers and operators in the two neighbouring countries. Outputs include promotional events, cross-border training and two tourism exchanges in 2024 and 2025. The ultimate goal is greater awareness of culture in sustainable tourism and a more visible and integrated cross-border destination.
