GO! SOČA-ISONZO
Soča/Isonzo nature triad - emerald adventures along the Soča/Isonzo river
The project GO! SOČA-ISONZO aims to promote well-being and social cohesion through sports and recreation accessible to all. Three main events will be organized with the involvement of about 3500 people from the neighboring areas of Nova Gorica and Gorica. The first event will be “GO! Soča-Isonzo. Cleaning the banks of the Soča River,” in which the banks of the Soča in Slovenia and Italy will be cleaned before the main season.
This will be followed by the “GO! Bike day - bike day,” open to all bicycle owners and cycling enthusiasts. They will be able to compete, discover new cycling routes, socialize and get to know each other. The main event will be the “GO! Soča River Descent,” a unique event with 300 boats on the water from Solkan to Podgora, together with the best local canoe athletes. All events will be designed to provide a joyful atmosphere, a fun program, gifts and food, encouraging people to meet and connect with each other.
