BORDERLESS GENERATION AUDIOVISUAL FESTIVAL
The Borderless Generation Audiovisual Festival project is dedicated to students that includes audiovisual promotion and training activities through different channels, with the intervention of film professionals. It also includes the organisation of a film festival where there will be space for some of the works produced by the students as part of the project activities. There will be an opportunity for them to acquire theoretical and practical know-how regarding the conception and screening of an audiovisual film, while the project partners will create a network of organisations working with the same target groups and objectives. As far as the festival is concerned, this will include screenings at the Kinemax in Gorizia and the Kulturni Dom in Nova Gorica. The objective is to raise awareness of the key role of cultural, artistic and creative heritage in defining a European identity linked to the social needs of local communities . The aim is to generate a new cultural welfare with new tourism projects, sharing best practices between Slovenes and Italians engaged in organisations working on the "problem of the other". The project is therefore focused on capacity building for the new generations and the promotion of EU values such as democracy and active supranational citizenship.
