Project Summary:
The SANITAS project addresses the shared challenge of adapting to climate change by promoting more comprehensive, coordinated, and strengthened cross-border cooperation. Its objectives include improving the equipment and skills of personnel responsible for emergency management, ensuring faster response times to natural disasters through the implementation of preventive measures in the cross-border area of the programme.
Main Outputs:
The main outputs include a Protocol on Primary Healthcare to harmonize disaster response in the cross-border area, staff training, enhancement of the technical capacities of project partners through the acquisition of new equipment, and the implementation of a joint exercise based on the protocol.
