“Let’s GO! Cosplay & Fun – GO! 2025 Special Edition” and the exhibition “Tattoos. Marks on the Skin, Traces of Identity” come to a close

With great participation and enthusiasm from the public, “Let’s GO! Cosplay & Fun – GO! 2025 Special Edition” wrapped up in Gorizia after a weekend filled with creativity, games, and fantasy. Cosplay contests, workshops, exhibitions, musical performances, and special guests brought fun and imagination to people of all ages.
The event was part of GO! 2025 – European Capital of Culture and it was organized by the Municipality of Gorizia in collaboration with the EGTC GO.
Complementing the festival was the exhibition “Tattoos. Marks on the Skin, Traces of Identity”, held at the Auditorium of Friulian Culture from September 7 to 21. The exhibition offered a cultural, anthropological, and historical look at the practice of tattooing, featuring materials from important Italian and European institutions, with a special focus on the history of tattoos in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Two different events, yet united by a common theme: the body as a language — a surface of identity, memory, and storytelling — at the heart of the shared cultural journey of Nova Gorica and Gorizia in GO! 2025.
