98 project proposals for the SPF call n.3

17.10.2025
terzo bando

A total of 98 project proposals were received by EGTC GO for the third SPF call, which closed today at 12:00. The financial allocation of the call, within the framework of the Small Projects Fund – GO! 2025, financed by the Interreg VI-A Italy–Slovenia 2021–2027 Programme, amounts to just over one million euros, precisely €1,026,839.17. Projects may have a maximum duration of 12 months, and the budget for each project must range between €30,000 and €100,000.

The call was open to associations, enterprises, organizations, educational institutions and universities, as well as public and private entities. Through the first two SPF GO! 2025 calls, 56 small projects have already been funded.

The project proposals for the third call must focus on at least one of the following themes: the first concerns initiatives that promote active inclusion and participation of children and young people under 30 through co-design processes, aimed at strengthening their skills, improving their employability, and fostering structured relationships with cultural, institutional, and local stakeholders. Secondly, the call seeks projects that enhance green areas and aquatic environments—such as rivers, lakes, streams, lagoons, and coastal areas—through socio-cultural, artistic, and environmental awareness initiatives. The third theme concerns the development of cross-border content aimed at enhancing public-interest infrastructure already present in the Programme area. Finally, as in the previous call, this one also aims to promote well-being and social cohesion through sports and physical activities accessible to all.

The EGTC GO staff will now handle the administrative procedure following the submission of project proposals. The first phase involves checking eligibility requirements; projects deemed eligible will move on to the second phase of qualitative evaluation, during which a score will be assigned. Based on these scores, a ranking list will be drawn up and published in the dedicated section of the EGTC GO website in the coming months.
