The 20th Edition of Gusti di Frontiera Comes to a Close: A Special Edition in the Spirit of GO! 2025

The 20th edition of Gusti di Frontiera has successfully come to a close, once again confirming Gorizia as a crossroads of cultures and flavors. In the special year of GO! 2025 – European Capital of Culture, the event took on new meaning, blending tradition and European vision in a true “Special Edition.”
From September 25 to 28, over 400 food stalls spread across 19 themed “Borghi” filled the city with tastes from around the world. A major highlight this year was the debut of the Borgo Borderless, set in Piazza Transalpina / Trg Evrope, created in collaboration with the Municipality of Nova Gorica. This symbolic, cross-border space hosted concerts, tastings, and international encounters, featuring future European Capitals of Culture and showcasing culinary connections across borders.
Supported by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and PromoTurismoFVG, the event reaffirmed the vital role of culture and hospitality in this special year, as Gorizia and Nova Gorica move forward—united under the European flag.
