In June Gorazd Božič took over the role of acting director of the JAVNI ZAVOD GO! 2025, Nova Gorica. Former director of the institute Dr. Kaja Širok took up the position in the Prime Minister's Cabinet. A new director of the ZAVOD GO! 2025 will be sought through a public call, which was published today by the Mandates, Elections and Appointments Commission of the Municipal Council of the Municipality of Nova Gorica.

The Commission for the Mandate, Elections and Appointments of the Municipal Council of the Municipality of Nova Gorica invites all interested candidates to read the public announcement, which is published on the website of the JAVNI ZAVOD GO! 2025 and on the website of the Municipality of Nova Gorica.

A candidate may be appointed as director who, in addition to the general conditions established by law, meets the following conditions:

higher education university education (previous), at least specialization in higher professional education (previous), master's degree (second level Bologna), master's degree in higher professional education (previous);
at least five years of work experience in management positions;
knowledge of the professional field of the institution;
active knowledge of the Slovenian language;
knowledge of the English language at a higher level;
the ability to organize and lead.

Candidates must attach to the public tender application a curriculum and a development and functioning program of the entity for the duration of the mandate.

The call is open until 12 August 2022.
