Opening of the Observatory and Planetarium (Project ZAFA25)  

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: On the first Thursday of every month, the observatory and planetarium open for guided telescope viewings and screenings of astronomy-themed films. Visitors will explore the complexities of celestial bodies, extraterrestrial phenomena, and learn more about the universe’s greatest mysteries on the big screen. 

Events are open to club members; registration and membership fees can be arranged on site before the event and are valid until 31/12/2025: €12 adults, €6 children.

Theatre performance including dinner “Štorije s konfina/Storie di Confine” (Project KONFIN) 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Considering the rich history of the border where Konvin is physically located, during summer dinners, guests will be able to watch the comedy “Štorije s konfina/Storie di Confine”. The natural stage will be located in two different countries, between the Yugoslav/Slovene and the Italian customhouses (Vipolže/Jazbine). With the intertwining of people’s traditions, a theatre group, and a natural background, people will be offered, next to the grapevines and under the trees, an unforgettable culinary and artistic experience. The performance will be presented by the theatre group Zavod Skaramuš, which already authored similar conceptual shows with professional actors. For an authentic experience, we would like to present stories that took place in both customhouses as well as along the whole cross-border area.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Everyone curious of exploring acrobatic movements, couple or free juggling, slacklining, aerial acrobatics, playing with circus equipment or the secrets of the circus’ suitcase and the funniest circus’ games, is invited. Even who simply wants to have a chat or spend some in good company. The programme includes also live music, a circus parade, a makeup stand, and a relaxed atmosphere.
