Opening of the Observatory and Planetarium (Project ZAFA25)    

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: On the first Thursday of every month, the observatory and planetarium open for guided telescope viewings and screenings of astronomy-themed films. Visitors will explore the complexities of celestial bodies, extraterrestrial phenomena, and learn more about the universe’s greatest mysteries on the big screen.   

Events are open to club members; registration and membership fees can be arranged on site before the event and are valid until 31/12/2025: €12 adults, €6 children.

Conference–Workshop: The Poetry of Dialects. The Landscape of Images (Project PODIPO) 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: A presentation of the project, with a special focus on the translation work carried out in five care homes, where residents translated poems by Slovenian authors and authors from Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The event also includes a workshop with students from Prof. Zvonka Kajba’s Translation and Cultural Mediation course. The conference–workshop is open to everyone; admission is free.

Workshop: Free Training for Roman Heritage Costumed Interpreters (Project RIMROM) 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: A free two-day training programme for costumed interpreters of cross-border Roman heritage. The workshop will be led by certified trainers from Interpret Europe – European Association for Heritage Interpretation. 

It is designed for enthusiasts of ancient history, tourist guides, and anyone interested in acquiring or enhancing skills in live heritage interpretation.
