Giro d’Italia without borders: Gorizia and Nova Gorica turned pink

It was truly a borderless celebration that the Giro d’Italia brought to Gorizia and Nova Gorica, with Italians and Slovenians united by their shared passion for cycling.
On Saturday, May 24th 2025, Gorizia and Nova Gorica, along with the roads of the Italian Collio and Slovenian Brda regions, turned pink and reached full capacity, drawing thousands of visitors.
Crowning an afternoon full of emotions, the Frecce Tricolori aerobatic team marked the end of the 14th stage with a breathtaking aerial show.
The celebration continued into the evening, culminating in a concert by the band The Kolors in Bevk square in Nova Gorica, who got the lively crowd of all ages dancing and singing along.
