Young people, participation and financial skills at Gorizia's Hackathon
Young people, projects, and financial skills: as part of the FLYE project – Financial Literacy for Innovative Youth Participation in Europe, the EGTC GO took part yesterday in the “Gorizia Youth Policy Hack” Hackathon, promoted by the Municipality of Gorizia and carried out by the APS Wayouth ETS.
After meetings with stakeholders and various design workshops, the group of young trainees from EGTC GO gathered votes and opinions from a broader community of young people in Gorizia. Around 30 participants, students from Gorizia’s secondary schools, were able to vote for one of three projects developed using the participatory budgeting methodology and explain their choice. The Hackathon activities will continue in the coming days at Sala Dora Bassi.
The FLYE project is co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Programme.
