On Tuesday, 16 December, the traditional end-of-year toast of the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC GO) took place at the GO! Center on Corso Verdi in Gorizia. Together with President Paolo Petiziol, Director Romina Kocina and Deputy Director Tomaž Konrad, the three mayors of the municipalities of Gorizia, Nova Gorica and Šempeter-Vrtojba – Rodolfo Ziberna, Samo Turel and Milan Turk – raised a toast to the past year, along with the entire staff of the organisation and a large group of representatives of the many local partners with whom EGTC GO collaborates on a daily basis.

The GO! Center premises were decorated by an infographic featuring photographs and texts, through which EGTC GO retraced its history, from the agreement between the three municipalities in 2010 up to the year of the European Capital of Culture. At the same time, there was a clear message that the work for the development of the area will continue, building on the experiences and relationships developed over the previous years, in 2026 and beyond.

As is tradition, the EGTC GO's managemente and the three mayors also exchanged Christmas gifts.
