GO! City Light: Saturday, Dec. 16 visual art projections, live music and DJs
Gorizia's town hall square/Piazza del Municipio will be closed for traffic to host artists BridA + JesterN, Tish, Max Zuleger and Stefano Comelli
On Saturday, December 16, from 5 to 10 p.m., Gorizia's Town Hall Square will host "GO! City Light" an event co-organized by the City of Gorizia and EGTC GO in the context of Gorizia's December.
The public space will be enlivened by artistic and musical installations, alternating urban entertainment proposals, such as street music and live DJ sets, with projects related to the GO! 2025 cross-border cultural program.
GO! City Light will transform, through colors and sounds, the square of the City Hall of Gorizia an open-air theater for exhibitions and performances. For the occasion, the area will be closed a few hours to traffic.
The visual choreography will consist of the video projection "Modux" by BridA with laser intervention by JesterN, established names in the contemporary multimedia art scene internationally. The BridA collective (formed by Tom Kerševan, Sendi Mango and Jurij Pavlica) is also an official partner of GO! 2025 and curates the R.o.R residency program (Šempas, Slovenia). The works of JesterN, a.k.a. Alberto Novello, have been presented in such "cultural temples" as the Centre Pompidou and the Venice Biennale.
The installation will be on view from 5 to 10 p.m.
The creation of a musical environment has been entrusted to Max Zuleger, a DJ and record producer for more than 20 years. A former art director for many clubs, he composes his playlists ranging from more than 12,000 vinyl records, with a focus on 90s dance music.
In addition to the live DJ set, the music program will include at 6 p.m. a special acoustic live performance by Tish, a singer from Monfalcone, with serbian roots. Born in 2000, in 2021 she released her first album in Italian, "Under The Dots," with Epic/Sony Music Italia. On Saturday 16 he will offer the Gorizia audience an "unplugged," intimate performance between pop, blues and soul sounds.
Another live performance will be the creation of an ice work by Stefano Comelli, a professional sculptor who has now entered regional museum collections, such as those of the Provincial Museums of Gorizia and the Zanussi House in Pordenone.
