Registration is now open for the second èStoriaBus event

Sunday 13 April the èStoriaBus will return for its second appointment of the year - Per i luoghi della Resistenza / Po poteh odporništva, a journey between Italy and Slovenia with the aim of discovering symbolic places of the Resistance.
The day, which will begin at the Casa Rossa border crossing in Gorizia, will be split into two parts. The Piave barracks in Palmanova will be the first stop: the visit will show its painful past as a centre of anti-partisan repression, one of five located in Friuli Venezia Giulia. In the afternoon there will be a transfer to Ljubljana, which witnessed the Slovenian Resistance develop after the Italian-German invasion and the annexation of the Ljubljana Province to the Italian Kingdom.
The participation to the event – comprehensive of guides, access to the places of interest and transfer – is free, with the possibility of lunch at the Gostilna Čad (expenses to be covered by the participants). To participate in the event, registration is required by e-mail to segreteria@estoria.it, specifying name, surname, nationality, phone number, participation to the group lunch.
The èStoriaBus has been extended thanks to the project ‘Beyond Walk of Peace: from Crossborder Historical Research and Cultural Heritage to European Trail and Stories’, financed by the European Regional Development Fund within the framework of the Interreg VI-A ITA-SLO 2021-2027 Programme.
